Construction Progress - week 33

No time to waste
Primavera started busting out all around us during week 33, as evidenced by
these terneros gathered around the porton to the parcelas.
Perhaps we'd been lulled to sleep while watching the mañio installation.
Fortunately, the maestros quickly added the last few pieces and the pace began
to quicken once again.
The remaining coihue went up on the wall leading to the cocina.
Suddenly we found a stairway in place leading to the roof and the future
terraza.
Maestro Ricardo and his crew pasted over the dormitorio and we seemed to be
almost ready to start painting.
At this point Andrés realized that we had these cabling cajas showing above
the doorway in the corner. We didn't realize that the corner section didn't
have doors. He didn't like the idea of simply covering the boxes with painted
plates, but we insisted that we didn't want to take the time to reroute the
conduits. We promised to display something up there to hide the cabling, so
we're now on the lookout for some appropriate kitsch items.
Meanwhile, Jorge and Juan enjoyed a beautiful afternoon while resuming the
cielo installation over the pasillo.
The next morning they placed the final strips in place and . . .
we could enjoy the cielo from inside and out.
Next, they headed into the garaje to add the same finished look
there.
Having finished the pasillo last week, Juan moved onto the
terraza.
This might seem like a recurring theme, but we loved the look of the piedra
in the sun.
Ok, we loved the look of the piedra in the shade too, especially when we
saw that Juan had finished the terraza and turned the corner towards the
entryway. At this point everything seemed to be moving so quickly that we
decided to head to Santiago to search for tile, lights, and other goodies to
finish the house. Hopefully, I'll find some time to get some more updates
posted. Hasta la proxima!!!

I can't wait for Mom and Dad to get there! Everything of course looks beautiful!
Hello and Happy New Year. Progress looks great - haven't checked in a while. Why is there white tape on the "coihue"?
